Dr. Langer brings over two decades of experience in eye care, beginning with a Bachelor of Science in Biology and Ecology from The University of Georgia (2001) and a Doctorate of Optometry from the Southern College of Optometry (2008). Before founding 512 Eye, she spent seven years at a respected ophthalmology practice in Austin, delivering both medical and comprehensive eye care.
At 512 Eye, Dr. Langer treats a wide range of eye conditions and provides expert vision care services including eye exams, prescription glasses, contact lens fittings, and surgical comanagement. She is an active member of the American Optometric Association, Texas Optometric Association, and Central Texas Optometric Society.
Known for her thorough, patient-focused approach, Dr. Langer is committed to helping patients of all ages achieve clear, comfortable vision. Her friendly demeanor and deep knowledge make every visit a positive experience for you and your family.
Gretchen joined 512 Eye in February 2016 and has over four years of experience working as an optician. Gretchen has a keen eye for style, and is eager to help patients select the perfect frame to complete their look. She is an expert at adjusting glasses, and making sure frames fit correctly. Gretchen is also very knowledgeable when it comes to the helping you select the proper lens material for your frames.
Gretchen was born and raised in Texas, which makes it no surprise that she has a warm, friendly disposition. In her spare time Gretchen enjoys spending time with her family, making up theme songs for friends and coworkers, dancing, and is an outdoor enthusiast.
Erin joined 512 Eye in March 2016 as a receptionist. Erin welcomes patients to the office and helps prepare necessary paperwork for eye examinations. She is also very helpful when it comes to informing patients of their insurance benefits.
Erin is passionate about optometry, and plans on attending optometry school in the future. Erin strives to provide you the personalized service and care that you’ve been looking for. In her spare time, Erin enjoys trying new restaurants, salsa dancing, and dreaming about owning her very own dog.
